Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal Major Game that blows your mind or not?

Hey guys, this year is gonna be a different year, we are going back to basics like in the first year of the blog. The community has grown large so you guys deserve this.

This post is about my favorite 3rd Person Shooters ever. Rebooted from the original 3 games Doom 1, 2, 3. In 2016, Doom hit us like a meteor shower. For example, I was abroad in Scotland during the launch and even though it got out in the same time as Blizzard's Overwatch. It was a huge success. Sharing the highlight in all stores in the UK. It was huge.

Even though it's not a dark claustrophobic game anymore, the graphics the soundtrack which is done by the one and only Mick Gordon. This guy is a genius, a real rockstar. During the game, approaching a demon's nest is the most thrilling and adrenaline pumping moment in a game. The music starts. You got collectables, you got nice models and custom kills. Even the big streaming players and fans were excited about it. My favorite is Angry Joe's review about the game. I could write about this game for a long time. But it is better if you watch and listen.

Now Doom Eternal managed to do the impossible to be even greater than the other ones, introducing new mechanics. Kept Mick Gordon to do a new set of  soundtracks. Added a lair for Doom Guy, revamped him, introduced achievements, and now waiting on a patch like an expansion.

Id software has created something more than a game. Even though it is very violent, you always play it with a smile.  Play them and to give you a general idea here are the full soundtracks for both games.

Why is The Thing 2011 a very good prequel to the one from 1982?

We all know that John Carpenter did a very good job with his movie is 1982, which was 38 years ago, the stars are now old or some them has past. The latest was Blair, himself from the image above ( The Thing). But also the co author of the great soundtrack that still gives me the chill, Ennio Morricone.

Leaving all this aside let's point out why is the movie from 2011 a very good prequel.

-Prequels are easier to do than sequels as you can't change the story.

-The sight from the Norvegian base was exactly the same

-they used old helicopter models to match the timeline

- At the end they actually used the first minutes from the original film, with Lars chasing the Dog Thing.

-actors was great

-CGI was good but they originally did it entirely with practical effects but it never got published until replace with CGI, only the woman who transformed was a puppet/animatronics.( God I love practical effects)

-Soundtrack was terrifying , they even used some of the old one

-Characters and death scenes and the positions of weapons and creatures was an exact match. Specially my favourite scene with the block of ice where the Thing was hold.

-Even though the cast was not as experimented as the original, the foreign actors are also very recognizable and good actors
